Welcome to Cornerstone Baptist Church

As soon as you walk through the doors, you will feel at home. Our hospitality team members are easily identified by their lanyards and their warm smiles.
At Cornerstone, you will be in community with people from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds from all over the metroplex. Cornerstone is a place for everyone.

Where do I go when I arrive?
When you arrive, you will be greeted by one of our hospitality members who will accompany you to the welcome center. At the welcome center, a hostess will ask a few simple questions in order to guide you and your family to the appropriate places. The check-in process will only take a few minutes and then you will be on your way.
What to expect in worship?
Our main worship service begins at 10:30 am with a mosaic of live contemporary and traditional music. You will find the music to be fresh and uplifting as your heart is being prepared for the message from Pastor Herrell. Our worship is a time of adoration and praise to God, as well as a time of learning from His Word. Each service is designed to transform the heart by a clear and encouraging application of God’s Word.
What should I wear?
We are more interested with your heart connecting in worship to God, than what you are wearing. In our community you will see both suits and jeans. We encourage you to wear what you would normally wear to a social gathering.
What about my kids?
At Cornerstone, we have a trained staff that will provide loving care for your kids in a safe and clean environment. Your kids will experience a fun and energetic atmosphere as they learn the Bible.
In our Bible Fellowship Classes we use the D6 Curriculum which connects the church and the home. D6 is a coordinated teaching approach that guides the entire family in studying the same biblical themes. Learn more about D6
To be sure that every child is safe while they are with us, we employ a state-of-the-art check-in and security system. When you and your kids arrive at Cornerstone, you will want to check your children in at a computerized check-in location. Every child receives their own printed name tag. Every parent will also receive a printed security receipt which will be used when you pick up your children from their classes.
If your child needs you at any time, you will be notified by one of our workers via text message or pager.
How do I become a member?
We are excited that God has led you to CBC! Our “Starting Point” class is designed so that you can learn more about CBC and give you the opportunity to ask questions to one of our church leaders.
